As Europe is slowly restarting economic activities, the principles and concrete initiatives presented in the Circular Economy Action Plan in March 2020 are a useful compass to guide industrial recovery into more sustainable practices. Eurogypsum welcomes the holistic approach taken in the new Action Plan, integrating energy and resource efficiency aspects beyond recycling, and the close link with the European Green Deal’s objectives, namely the Renovation Wave and the expected Strategy for a Sustainable Built Environment as regards our sector.
