The voice of the European gypsum industry
Founded in 1961, Eurogypsum is a European federation of national associations representing the industry supplying gypsum and processing it into construction products, such as plaster, plasterboard or gypsum blocks.

We are an international non-for-profit association (AISBL) registered in Belgium and based in Brussels.
We promote the role of gypsum in delivering a sustainable, efficient, and resilient built environment.
Our main objective is to build solutions for Europe's essential needs. A competitive gypsum industry based in Europe is indispensable to deliver affordable, sustainable, safe, and healthy housing.
Eurogypsum coordinates industry positions and contributes constructively to EU policymaking through an open dialogue with European institutions and stakeholders, as well as active participation in various alliances.
As the voice of the European gypsum industry, Eurogypsum drives sectoral initiatives and communicates on achievements of relevance to societal and policy objectives, such as the access to affordable and sustainable housing, the responsible use of resources, biodiversity and nature restoration, energy and water efficiency, climate change mitigation and adaptation restoration, as well as the circular economy.
A versatile material at the heart of modern construction
From walls and ceilings to comfort, performance, and circularity, gypsum plays an important role in the buildings we use every day.

The people behind Eurogypsum
Eurogypsum’s team works closely with members and partners to represent the sector, support its priorities, and help shape the conversation around the future of construction.
